Ever since CHRONO TRIGGER® debuted to rave reviews back in 1995, the Chrono series has occupied a special place in the hearts of gamers around the world. So when Square Enix invited us to undertake the first official localisation of its 1999 sequel CHRONO CROSS™ into French, German, Italian and Spanish, we naturally jumped at the chance. But it was when we subsequently learned the game would be shipping with the legendary text-based visual novel adventure RADICAL DREAMERS that the Chrono fans in our team got really excited. Having originally been released in 1996 for the Satellaview—a Japan-only satellite modem peripheral for the Super Famicom—RADICAL DREAMERS had seemed destined to be lost to time…until now!

Suffice it to say, we’re proud to have played a part in bringing both games to a new audience, and confidently predict that text-based visual novel adventures will be the next big thing—in our office, anyway.
